A 12 minute course on how to create great places
This FREE and FAST course provides a very quick introduction to placemaking in just 12 minutes!
It aims to provide you with:
- A better understanding of what placemaking is and is not
- Some ideas on the personal benefits of placemaking
- A few examples to show you what it can look like
We have created this course to be accessible to anyone just like you!, including professionals, local businesses and people who want to improve their community.

Troubleshooting Login Issues
New users should click on the Creating Great Places in 12 Minutes course by clicking on the purple 'Click here to start' button above.
If you try to register, but receive an error message saying "checkout.already_purchased_error", it is because you have already registered in the past for this course (or possibly another course via Teachable).
If this is the case, there are three options.
1 - Login to Teachable on the homepage of Placemaking Education using your user name and password.
OR
2 - Open a new tab in Incognito mode and register for the course again.
OR
3 - Email us via [email protected] and we can delete your previous account so that you can register a new account.
